MPR #5371 / #5372 / #012310 Arthroscopy Leg Holder
MPR arthroscopic leg holder is designed to mount on the operating table side rail in a standard clark type socket. It can be directly on top of the table or raised up to10 inches (25.4cm) and inclined at any angle using the clark socket www.m-p-r.com/clarkadapter.htmlThe medial-lateral position on the pads can be set by pivoting the positioning plate in the clark socket. A total of 9 inches (22.9cm) of adjustment facilitates use for practically any procedure.
Clamping is achieved by simply pushing the lateral pad with the palm of the hand until the desired force is applied to the leg. This feature provides a direct indication of the load on the leg, thus preventing any undesirable effects due to over tightening. The spring loaded pawl automatically maintains this force until the clamp release lever is depressed.
Angulation and height of the lateral pad is easily controlled by the lateral pad lock unique fitting for each patient. Single Use cover for lateral & medial pads #10213 available

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1). Install the MOUNTING POST into the clark socket and pivot the POSITIONING PLATE until the MEDIAL PAD is in the desired location. First, tighten the POSITIONING LOCK then raise the entire unit to the desired height and securely tighten the clark socket.
2). Loosen the LATERAL PAD LOCK and remove the lateral pad.
3). Place the patients leg in the holder against the MEDIAL PAD. Replace the LATERAL PAD to the proper height and lock it with the LATERAL PAD LOCK. (NOTE: The LATERAL PAD may be angled to achieve an intimate fit with the leg.
4). Using the palm of the hand, push the LATERAL PAD into the leg until the desired clamping force is applied to the leg. If over tightened, simply depress the CLAMP RELEASE LEVER and repeat the clamping as necessary.
5). To remove the patient, depress the CLAMP RELEASE LEVER and pull the LATERAL PAD away from the leg. If more room is required to lift the leg out of the holder, remove the LATERAL PAD as in step 2.
CLEANING NOTE: If necessary for cleaning purposes, the SLIDING BASE can be removed by removing the POSITIONING LOCK, depressing CLAMP RELEASE LEVER and sliding the BASE out of the quides. Install base in reverse order.
